Aventura Real Estate Vacation tips …

The Grass is Greener

The Grass is Greener

I was reading an article in Green Living Tips that I wanted to share with you.  This is an interesting perspective. Perhaps, after reading it, you might consider having  a stay-home vacation  here in  in Aventura,  Sunny Isles Beach, or closer to your home area.

“The Grass is Greener in South Florida”

He starts by saying this: “How many times have you been on vacation only to find that what was in the glossy brochure with the doctored photos didn’t reflect the reality of the destination? What about all those tourist traps where everything is junky and expensive? It’s spend, spend, spend – a bit like pigging out on chocolate, it feels good at the time but leaves you feeling rather sickly afterwards.”

We have this tendency to see the grass as being greener on the other side, whereas it can really be quite green where we are.

So, going back to our beautiful South Florida area. We can become tourists in our own town. How?

We can attend City of Aventura ‘s events and parks, even visit Greynold’s Park or Oleta River where  you can excercise down the bike trail or go kayaking. .

You can even expand your staycation by visiting nearby towns including Hollywood, Sunny Isles and Fort Lauderdale.

One important tip: Do not paint the house or use the time to do chores! – unless you consider that a vacation -.

Did you find this information interesting? Do you need more details?  I might be talking about staycations down the road. Contact me or leave a comment below.
